The Motion Sick (“Best Local Rock Band 2009" in the Boston Phoenix's Best Of issue) reunites for one night only during Parks 7” Release Show at the Brighton Music Hall (Allston) on July 13th.
The Motion Sick was a socially aware, DIY, indie rock band with a focus on dynamic, diverse music, energetic live shows, and insightful lyrics. Named SPIN Magazine’s “Band of the Month” for their first release, the band continued their momentum with numerous accolades including airplay for their "30 Lives" music video on numerous national and international networks including: MuchMusic, Fuse, and MTV Latin America. The song is also featured in current versions of the video game Dance Dance Revolution, available internationally for the XBox, Playstation, and Arcade platforms.
In honor of the band’s first show in in three years, each opening band will feature one member of The Motion Sick.

In addition to The Motion Sick reunion, Boston indie pop band, Parks, will release debut singles “Sweater Weather” and “Modern Fiction” on a limited-edition 7” vinyl.
