Boston's Stole Bike Crusade hits the stage at TT the Bear's 6 years after band splits |
Between the years of 2000 and 2006, Boston post-punk band, Stolen Bike Crusade, channeled the likes of Fugazi, Refused, and At the Drive In to create substantial and emotional noise.
"The seven songs that make up Lisa Marie…a bold, brash, boisterous EP…reveal a more focused SBC, one that expands on the many promises of their debut, (Stealing Today for a Better Tomorrow)."
-DOA (Delusions of Adequacy) 2003
"The Massachusetts four-piece comes off as tight and confident, and with a little more time to simmer, could go quite far." -Punknews.org 2003
Despite positive and optimistic reviews of their 2003 Lisa Marie EP, produced by Justin Pizzoferrato (Pixies, Speedy Ortiz), the band dispersed after six years and seven lineup changes.
However this Thursday (9/19/13) Stolen Bike Crusade will reunite at TT the Bear's alongside Jack Burton vs. David Lo Pan, Capital Radio and Never Got Caught.
