This year, THE FEST, an independent multiple-day, multiple-venue underground music festival held annually in Gainesville, FL, with support from No Idea Records, predicts that over 10,000 music lovers will converge on Florida to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and some of the best underground punk, hardcore, indie, and alt-country bands from all over the world.
And several of those bands will be from Massachusetts!
This locals only Rock Out With Your Cocktail Out playlist features Boston-area punk, indie and rock bands, all of which are currently in Florida, rocking out at FEST12 along side notable bands such as ALL, Bouncing Souls and The Lawrence Arms.
Representing the Bay State is: A Wilhelm Scream, Big D and the Kids Table, Born Without Bones, Choke Up, Great Lakes USA, Jeff Rowe, Love Child (formally Cerce), Pile, My Fictions, No Trigger,Ramming Speed, Rebuilder, Save Ends, Shambles, Somos, The Fake Boys, The Hotel Year, The Stereo State and The Young Leaves. I've seen most of these bands live. They fucking kill it. Support local music, go to a show.
