This weekend was a fucking spectacular time for Boston punks, old school and current. Between watching some superior legends in the scene, to rocking out with a bunch of super rad dudes, The Real Kids Middle East Show and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Hometown Throwdown 16 were excellent parties.
And there are pictures to prove it.
SATURDAY 12.28.13

Spending my last Saturday of 2013 with my friends, The Connection (NH). I may have crawled from the wreckage of a Saturday night the next day. Just for a little bit. |

After three and a half decades, this Boston band still blows half of the current scene out of the water. The Nervous Eaters absolutely rocked it at The Middle East in Cambridge. |
|
It's a party at The Middle East Downstairs! An insanely impressive/deserving turnout for some historic staples in the Boston punk scene during The Real Kids / Nervous Eaters show. |
SUNDAY 12.29.13
|
Christmas Punx friends in Rebuilder rocked out onstage at The House of Blues Boston during The Bosstones Hometown Throwdown. 'Antarctica' is easily becoming one of my favorite songs. |
|
What a classy bunch of Boston punk rock royalty. The Bosstones killed it per usual during night #3 at The Hometown Throwdown 16. Fun Fact: I once drove Ben Carr home from the airport. Sadly, he did not dance in my car. |
