Consexual Sense available March 14. Pre-order your copy today. |
The live free or die New Hampshire punks in A Minor Revolution have been busy. From announcing their inclusion in this year’s Canadian punk rock Pouzza Fest, to putting the finishing touches on the band's second release, Consexual Sense (out this Friday 3/14), A Minor Revolution is preparing to rock out at a venue near you.
The band will be kicking off their “Weekend Warriors EP Release Tour” (which actually spans two weekends) in their home state with New York reggae legends, The Slackers in Dover on March 14th, and will continue hopping around the New England area, stopping in Providence (3/15), Boston (3/21) and finishing in Danbury, CT (3/22).
Described as “A house party of genres including punk, reggae, hip-hop, and good old fashioned rock n roll,” A Minor Revolution is certainly a diverse concoction of NOFX, Lucky Boy Confusion and the band playing your neighbor’s basement right now.
Consexual Sense is the debut release for Boston indie start-up label, Ocelot Records, (from the makers of Bloghead Podcast). While there are only five confirmed tour dates on paper, plans for a West Coast Minor Revolution tour are in the works. You can stream Consexual Sense on soundcloud and pre-order your copy over at Bandcamp today.
Join in on the Weekend Warrior fun and follow the band on Facebook and Twitter for additional tour dates. Ocelot Records is an independent record label providing personalized collaboration between label and bands through promotions, show bookings and compilation development. Bands interested in learning more about the start-up outfit can email manager@ocelotrecords.com.
