| The 'World Series of Boston Rock' begins April 6th |
The Rock 'N' Roll Rumble Class of 2014 was officially announced on air last night during WZLX's Boston Emissions With Anngelle Wood. This is one stacked list. 'Full Boat' 9-day passes are still available. With such a stellar lineup, you pretty much have to go to every show. 24 Bands. 9 Nights. 1 Crown.
This year marks 35 years of celebrating Boston and New England music. "It is my 5th year as host and organizer," boasts Boston music scene veteran and radio personality, Anngelle Wood. "In my many years as a Boston radio host, this is by far my favorite accomplishment."
The 9-day Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble will happen at TT the Bear's in Cambridge with preliminary rounds taking place Sunday 4/6, Monday 4/7 and Tuesday 4/8 (Wednesday is reserved for the traditional day of rest) and continues Thursday 4/10, Friday 4/11 and Saturday 4/12.
Semi-finals are held on Thursday 4/17 and Friday 4/18, with the highly anticipated Finals played on Friday, April 25, with one band being crowned champion. Find bios and social media links for the 24 participating bands on the Boston Emissions' page.
