Hey Boston. We heard you were looking for a good time.
At first listen, we couldn’t tell if Atlanta’s Baby Baby was absolutely ridiculous or totally amazing. We quickly settled on the latter, and you will too.
Having just played a set with Bad Religion at the Mayan in Los Angeles, the ATL 5-piece is en route to Allston Rock City by way of a “wild cross-country tour’ to support their 2014 release, Big Boy Baller Club (Gospel of Rhythm Recordings), as Bowery Boston and Ryan’s Smashing Life presents Baby Baby with Twin Berlin and Animal Talk at Great Scott on Saturday, December 20th.
“I met Baby Baby in Austin, TX during SXSW 2011. They were playing a Midriff Records showcase with The Beatings. It was a hell of a show,” Ryan Spaulding (Ryan’s Smashing Life) explains.
“Their set was so unbelievably fun, and I thought it was crazy they weren't the biggest band out there. We did a free underground show with them [in Boston] a couple of years ago and a couple hundred people came out.”
Expecting just as many enthusiastic show goers this time around, and with excellent local support, music lovers are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance (here…you can purchase tickets in advance here.)
